Non-Emergency Surgeries Now On Hold

If you have a surgery or appointment that’s not an emergency at the hospital, be prepared to have it postponed.

The order came from Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. David Williams, on Tuesday, which also includes allowing hospitals to transfer patients without their consent.
