The MP for Thunder Bay-Superior North is offering few options for the city after federal funding dried up for the event centre.
Patty Hajdu says the arena and convention centre just didn’t meet the criteria the government set out and knows of no other direction the city could take in seeking federal funding for the project.
Hajdu says it’s time to look at funding other city infrastructure projects and she’s prepared to support city proposals surrounding housing and wastewater. (File photo)
