The Nishnawbe Aski Nation says it isn’t recognizing Ron Kocsis as the chief of the Hornepayne First Nation.
Kocsis and his followers have been occupying the local NAN office this week insisting that last years band election be given the stamp of approval.
In a statement NAN says it must stay neutral in the matter since there’s an unresolved leadership dispute going on between the followers of Kocsis and another group.
