A second call centre is closing its doors in Thunder Bay.
About 130 employees at HGS Canada in Victoriaville Mall will have their last day of work on June 5th.
Vice President of Human Rescources Kathy Follett-Llloyd says the company is having trouble attracting and retaining full-time employees. She says when they opened in 2010, the company projected it would need to hire at least 300 employees, but they’ve since been unable to reach their goal.
The Teleperformance call centre on Red River Road announced earlier this year that it’ll close on April 20, putting 150 people out of work.
