Motorcycle Course Not Affected By Fire

A fire at the Buchanan Mill property will not be a setback for motorcycle training.

Greg Stein of the Motorcycle Safety Training Organization explains the weekend fire destroyed the classrooms they had constructed in that building on Vibert Road, but he still plans to offer the course.

“I’ve got two sea cans and a portable classroom coming there. So despite getting kicked several times this year, we are going to push forward and make it happen,” notes Stein.

He says while the fire was burning late Friday night he was on his knees trying to salvage what he could from the building.

Stein was forced to put a stop to the classroom learning when the pandemic broke and out was looking forward to restarting them at the new location.

The course is still set to resume on Friday.
