The 2020-2021 Catholic School Board budget is approved.
The Board of Directors held a special online meeting Monday to approve the budget and go over some of the details in it.
Superintendent of Business Sheila Chiodo says the budget is very status quo just because of the ongoing COVID-19 concerns.
“So it’s just basically what you have now and continuing on into the new year and having some flexibility in your budget depending on what model we go within the fall,” Chiodo says.
The board’s budget is coming in at $114 million dollars.
Chiodo adds thanks to funding they were able to add 13 new positions including an extra teacher at one of their senior elementary schools, an ESL teacher, and an early intervention teacher.
