More Funds For LU Researchers

Researchers at Lakehead University are getting over $384,000 for a number of projects.

The university says $188,000 of that is going to create what it calls a Living Labs Network to look at issues affecting the environment near Lake Superior.

A grant of over $196,000 will support a project looking at Indigenous culturally-appropriate ways to help children deal with stress and other emotions.

The funding is coming from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
