There are some new correctional officers working at jails in northern Ontario.
A total of 91 recruits recently completed an eight-week training program that took place both virtually and in-person.
Fifteen were trained out of the Thunder Bay Regional Training site.
A total of 21 have been assigned to northern facilities, including jails in Kenora and Thunder Bay.
