The forest fire season is over, but that doesn’t mean work for local Ministry of Natural Resources fire crews has come to a screeching halt.
Information Officer Jonathan Scott says they’ll be busy on several fronts.
He says base maintenance will take up much of their time, adding they’ll be conducting fire prevention programming, outreach and education for students, and taking part in Far North initiatives.
