Men Fined $2,500 For Hunting Violations

Two Timmins men have been fined a total of $2,500 for hunting violations north of Dryden.

Conservation officers received a tip last November that two men were hunting without permission on posted private property off Amesdale Road.

The two were later stopped in Ignace where officers found an un-tagged buck white-tailed deer.

Rafael Borroto Garcia and Ralph Miller both were charged with trespassing.

Garcia has been banned from hunting for two years.
