COVID-19 is going to leave a major impact on how we interact with each other in the future.
As for right now, Ontario’s Medical Officer of Health David Williams notes grocery store chains have already had to change the way they conduct their business.
“I think the stores are doing all they can to protect their staff and tellers as well as their shoppers. They are reviewing their practices and always adding new ways of doing things,” Williams said.
As for shoppers, they’ve started putting space between each other while going through the till and wearing gloves to pick up their grocery items.
