Thunder Bay mayor Keith Hobbs met last week with a number of government officials over the Ring of Fire.
That included the High Commissioner to Canada for South Africa, with the goal to meet as many potential stakeholders globally as possible.
Hobbs says he understands how frustrating it is as government after government seems to delay in getting the mine operational, with generations of youth missing out on jobs.
Hobbs says in spite of NorOnt recently buying into the project, that company won’t wait around either.
