Thunder Bay’s Mayor is asking residents to take responsibility for their actions and take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously.
Bill Mauro spoke with Acadia Broadcasting’s John Ongaro and said it’s really about how we conduct ourselves over the next two to four weeks.
Mauro says you need to take self-isolation and physical social distancing seriously.
The Mayor warns we’ve recently welcomed home our snowbirds and March break vacationers back to the city which could bring us more cases of COVID-19.
“Administration and council are doing the best we can, things continue to evolve, we are all in this together, and I think morale is good,” Mauro said.
Last night, much of City Council met via teleconference.
