Minister of Natural Resources Bill Mauro is vowing his government will be more proactive towards invasive species.
Mauro stood in Question Period saying in the past the province has been more reactive when dealing with zebra mussels and the emerald ash borer.
Mauro feels the invasive species act will help them be more vigilant in keeping the pests out of Ontario. (File photo)
