Starting next week, Walmart stores in the United States will require you to wear a mask. However, that same rule isn’t being applied to all Canadian store locations.
A Walmart Canada spokesperson says masks are required in all jurisdictions that have passed mandatory orders requiring masks.
The company official says in all other jurisdictions they strongly recommend associates and customers wear masks.
They add they will continue to monitor and follow the direction of local public health and government authorities.
To best serve our communities and protect the health and safety of our shoppers and associates, face coverings will be required in all stores beginning Monday, July 20. For more on our decision and policy, please see here: https://t.co/r2ijRqslNP pic.twitter.com/pKYQCzk48l
