One man has firefighters to thank for his rescue from McVicar Creek yesterday afternoon.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue says they got a call just after 3:30 about a man in the water near the bridge at Algoma and Dawson Streets.
They were able to pull the man from the water, and he was taken to the hospital.
Firefighters believe then man to be in his 40’s, adding his condition is not known at this time.
