UPDATE 12 o’clock, Thursday:
A 31- year old Thunder Bay man is facing charges after a collision involving multiple vehicles in the north end.
Police tell us they were called to the Junot and Red River Road area around 3 p.m. yesterday, and claim a black car had hit five vehicles that were waiting at a stoplight.
Police add the driver then drove over a snowbank, and was involved in another collision at the Dawson Road and Strand Avenue intersection.
Police say the driver of the black car left the vehicle, but witnesses helped police find him, and charge him with impaired driving and leaving the scene of a crash.
Three people near the Junot Avenue collision were treated for injuries, with two of them taken to hospital for further treatment.
He was released from custody with a future court date.
