Lakehead University students, located at various campuses throughout the province, can now learn as if they were in one classroom.
The immersive telepresence system shows life size images of people in other classrooms, via satellite, and has been very successful with 1st year students.
President Brian Stevenson says they’ve already tried it with the Orillia campus.
