A local cat shelter is competing in the semi-finals for Aviva Community Fund’s million dollar challenge.
Kitty Kare is a non-profit, volunteer driven cat rescue that is committed to saving abandoned and stray cats from the city’s Animal Services; cats which are to be euthanized due to illness, lack of space or condition.
To date Kitty Kare has saved almost 600 cats.
