The Bora Laskin Law School has named its new interim Dean.
Justice George Patrick Smith will fill the role that will be vacated by Angelique Eaglewoman when she steps down in June.
In a release sent to media it states Smith is recognized for his judicial expertise and understanding of Canadian Indigenous and Aboriginal issues.
He also has a long standing connection and respect among local, provincial and national Aboriginal and non Aboriginal legal communities. (Photo supplied)
