It’s Census Day In Canada

Tuesday is Census Day and Canadians are encouraged to fill out the questionnaire.

Residents began receiving their census letters in the mail last week.

It contains details on how to complete the questionnaire online, as well as a toll-free number to request a paper copy instead.

Canadians are required by law to complete the questionnaire, which is conducted every five years, and all answers are confidential.

Information gathered will help communities and provinces understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It will also be used to help make decisions on public services and programs, such as health care and education.
