The Lakehead Public School Board holds it’s inaugural meeting tonight.
Director of Education Ian MacRae tells us a board chair will be elected along with a number of other necessary business items.
“There are appointments to the Special Ed Advisory Committee. The trustee appointments to board committees are also approved at this time.”
The director of education notes the biggest issue will be the unknowns with the new Ford government plans for a number of education programs.
