A heads up if you were planning to be on Lake Superior for ice-fishing, walking or all-terrain purposes.
The Canadian Coast Guard says the ice-breaker Samuel Risley is in Thunder Bay’s harbour around this time, working to make sure all commercial boats are able to pass through the port.
The coast guard adds while the Samuel Risley works, there is a danger as moving ice could pose a danger for anyone on the ice.
