Power outages are being reported by Thunder Bay hydro throughout the city, mainly due to the wind.
Downed hydro lines are near Twin City Crossroads and Oliver Road, which is affecting a couple hundred customers.
Lines are also down on Melbourne Road, just east of Dog Lake Road, power is estimated to be restored there late this afternoon.
Power is also out on South Algonquin, just south of Red River Road, including parts of Kenogami and the Expressway.
Thunder Bay Hydro is stressing for everyone to stay away from downed hydro lines.
Hydro One is also dealing with numerous outages in surrounding areas of Thunder Bay.
