How to Reheat Kraft Dinner

Happy National Macaroni and Cheese Day! I love this comfort food so much, but honestly, I would take Kraft Dinner over a gourmet Mac and Cheese every time. But there’s a problem … it joins french fries at the top of the list of foods that don’t reheat well.

It’s never quite the same but the best method I’ve used is zapping it with a bit of milk and butter. I got a couple of tips on the Tbaytel Talk & Text Line about this and apparently, frying it is where it’s at!

Les: I fry KD or spaghetti the next day. Melt butter on low heat with a lid on for 5-7 minutes. Stays soft. If it’s KD, I like to sprinkle bacon bits on it too.

Brad: Leftover KD is just like leftover Spaghetti. You have to fry it in butter with salt and pepper the next day. 👍🏻

So there you have it! I also took to the internet to solve this problem and found this great article from First For Women with several ways to reheat your Mac and Cheese, including in the oven, on the stove, and in the microwave.

Let’s face facts, though, I am going to continue to pretend that Kraft Dinner can’t be revived so I can still use that excuse to eat the entire box in one sitting.
