Tips From The Oldest Man in the World

Guinness World Records announced yesterday that Japan’s Chitetsu Watanabe is the World’s Oldest Man. As of today, Mr. Watanabe has lived 112 years and 345 days. Chitetsu was born on 5th March 1907. To put that in perspective, the tunes The Bay plays start in 1970. When those first played, Chitetsu Watanabe was 63 years old.

Mr. Watanabe loves desserts and credits his longevity to not getting angry, and keeping a smile his face. Japan seems to be doing it right, the World’s Oldest Woman also hails from there! Kane Tanaka turned 117 in January. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN!

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
