The new Delta Hotel on the waterfront is a step closer to being built.
Developer Gisele MacDonald of the Resolve Group says that the building permit has been applied for from the city and they are getting set to construct the 15 million dollar complex.
MacDonald hopes to have the okay from the city by early next month and with the foundation already in place, she says construction of the hotel itself is expected to begin the first or second week in March.
