The historic Chippewa Park Carousel Band Organ is making its grand return today.
Carousel Project Manager Iain Angus tells us it was last heard in the 1970s and will be shown off in a two-hour concert at Waverly Park.
“The music from the 1910s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, all played on the organ.”
The organ was restored thanks to a community donation and will be placed back into the Chippewa Park Carousel starting June 8th.
The concert today at Waverly Park runs from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.
