The government says it’s an attempt to protect youth to whom are big consumers of the drinks.
There have been a number of people who have been hospitalize for alcohol poisoning and at least two deaths.
The drinks are often highly sweetened, which makes it easy to unintentionally consume large amounts of alcohol in a very short period of time.
