Have you heard of the “6 to 1” Grocery Shopping Method?

From this morning’s “TODAY IN THE BAY” feature:

Are you finding grocery shopping too monotonous these days….and….expensive? Have you heard of the “6 to 1” method?

It was developed by a New York TV chef named Will Coleman. He says this method will help you spend less time in the grocery store and keep more money in your pocket.

How does this work? Buy:

6 frozen, fresh or canned vegetables

5 fresh, frozen or canned fruits

4 proteins

3 starches

2 sauces

1 ‘fun thing’.

Benefits? More diversity in your diet / and save money. You’ll still need to meal plan. Google it, you’ll find more info on it – the “6 to 1 Grocery shopping method”.
