City police are turning to the public for assistance in an ongoing investigation.
It revolves around an incident which occurred Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Boulevard Lake.
Police say a good Samaritan came to the aid of a male child in the parking lot near the main playground.
They are described as possibly a male, wearing a white hat, red jacket and blue pants.
The individual described or anyone who may have witnessed the interaction are asked to contact police through the non-emergency line.
No details on the incident have been provided by police, however a in a post on social media a user says two men in a white work van attempted to abduct the child and the good Samaritan stepped in to stop them.
