Patty Hajdu’s appointment to the Trudeau cabinet is getting a thumbs up from a Lakehead University Political Science professor.
Hajdu is now the Minister for the Status of Women.
Laure Paquette says she’s glad the north will have a voice at the cabinet table.
Paquette adds it comes as a bit of a surprise, as Kenora MP Bob Nault didn’t make it to cabinet, even though he’s experienced and knocked off a cabinet minister himself in the election. (File photo)
