Hajdu Supports Wait Time For COVID Doses

Canada’s Health Minister is on board with allowing more time between first and second doses of the COVID vaccine.

Ontario will be extending the time between first and second doses to four months.

Patty Hajdu believes science has proven it can be done and still be effective.

“Obviously the more people that can get immunized the better for…saving lives…and the more we can see a faster (return) to normal,” notes Hajdu.

The health minister says extending the wait time fits in with the government’s primary concern of saving lives during the pandemic.
