Students at Lakehead University are concerned with tuition, aboriginal issues, poverty and cost of living in Thunder Bay.
That’s what they told MP Patty Hajdu at a town hall meeting yesterday at the school.
Hajdu says she’s heard about housing issues not only as an MP, but also when she worked at the homeless shelter.
Hajdu says students also spoke about housing being a provincial issue too, and that landlords can apply to raise rent every year. (File photo)
