The Concerned Taxpayers of Thunder Bay believe the recent finance report for the event centre is incorrect.
The city stated Thunder Bay would have to pay 42 million dollars, but the concerned taxpayers believe it will cost them closer to 80 million dollars.
Chairman of Concerned Taxpayers of Thunder Bay Raymond Smith believes the money should go towards city infrastructure.
Smith adds that in a media poll of 548 people, 87 percent of people said they do not support the event centre after reading the funding report. (File photo)
