Group Dedicated To Getting Out The Young Vote

A nonpartisan organization is looking to hire people in Thunder Bay to help get young people out to the polls.

Future Majority Spokesperson Tyler Valiquette tells us they want to help students get their voices and issues heard.

“What young Canadians are telling us across the country is how important climate change is and the rising cost of living. It’s really important to vote if we want to make a difference and have our voices heard.”

Future Majority is hiring 300 Get-Out-The-Vote Canvassers across the country to walk students on campuses to the polls during the October 5th to October 9th early voting period.

Valiquette adds when you vote on campus, you can register to vote right at the polling station.

Future Majority was formed in 2018.
