Union Gas is dealing with a leak on Red River Road.
The road was closed for a short time today as crews worked to shut off the gas to the one business impacted.
Platoon Chief Kelly Patterson say contractors were working in the area and caused the pipe to break.
Police and Fire evacuated some of the near by buildings for a short time including the Waverley Library.
The danger has passed and again the road is open.
