Four individuals from London, Thunder Bay and Fort William First Nation face trafficking charges after police say an estimated $135,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized from four locations in Thunder Bay and Fort William.
The search warrants were executed on June 11 after police say evidence suggested drugs were being trafficked from the Greater Toronto Area into Thunder Bay and Fort William First Nation.
According to police, officers from the Thunder Bay Police Service and Nishnawbe Aski Police Service, along with other agencies, seized the following:
- 565g of suspected fentanyl
- 475g of suspected cocaine
- 90 g suspected crack cocaine
- A quantity of a suspected cutting agent
- More than $19,000 CAD
- Five cell phones
- Digital scales
Two men and two women, all between the ages of 35 and 45, are charged with possession with the purpose of trafficking.
