A former Dryden resident who now lives in Thunder Bay is getting the highest honour for public service.
Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor is giving David Cleaveley the 2018 Medal of Distinction in Public-Administration.
The medal recognizes Cleaveley’s dedication to Indigenous communities and innovation in public service.
Cleaveley spent his entire 44-year career with the Government of Ontario’s fire program and recently retired.
He’ll receive the award on Tuesday during a special ceremony in Toronto.
