The Muskrat Dam First Nation has declared a State of Emergency.
This is due to a power shortage.
The community has three diesel generators, but only one is working.
Early Monday morning, the community lost power for three hours, before it was finally restored.
The community is working with Nishnawbe Aski Nation, the Provincial Emergency Operations office, the federal government and the Independent First Nation Alliance to resolve the situation.
