A fire engulfed a south-side home, doing extensive damage last night.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Platoon Chief Philip Dzuba explains they were called out to Finlayson Street just before 11 o’clock.
Firefighters say the flames could be seen ten feet above the house.
“The interior of the house is pretty much done,” Dzuba says, but adds the damage to the surrounding homes was limited to some melted siding.
One pet was killed in the fire, but he says there were no other injuries to report.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
