Fire Fighters Appear To Make Progress

There is some good news in the fight against the forest fire near Red Lake.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry tells us the size of it appears to be shrinking, with current estimates it is about 552 hectares, down from previous estimates.

There is also rain expected today in the area.

As for new forest fires, two small ones lite up in the Nipigon region, as well one in Sioux Lookout.
