Fire Destroys Car In South End

The cause of a car fire in the south end is under investigation by Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue.

They say on they were called to the 400 block of Victoria Avenue, where they found a car completely in flames, parked next to a building.

Due to the extent of the fire, three trucks were needed, but they quickly put it out.

The fire department adds damage was minimal to the building, but a gas metre was severely damaged.

Emergency crews also say a witness saw seeing people in the area just before the fire was found.

That is all the information the fire department has given us.
