District Confirms 29 New Cases

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is now at 343 COVID-19 cases, with another 29 people testing positive.

There are now 26 people being treated at the Regional Hospital, including a total of nine in Intensive Care.

The Health Unit reports 21 more people are now considered resolved.

The province has now logged more than 300,000 total COVID-19 infections.

The latest update confirms 1,062 new cases, and 20 more people who have died of complications of the disease.

There are another 12 cases in the Northwestern Health Unit area.
