An update is coming reviewing how well recommendations from a Youth Inquest in Thunder Bay have been followed.
In 2016, a jury looking into the deaths of seven First Nation young people who died while going to school here issued 145 recommendations, to groups such as the police, the city, and a variety of other organizations, to implement the ideas to prevent further deaths.
On Wednesday, six of the families will give a virtual update on progress to date, through their lawyers, and will continue to give yearly updates until all recommendations have been implemented.
