Extreme Heat Warnings Continue

Hot weather warnings are covering nearly all of northwestern and northern Ontario.

Environment Canada is forecasting highs in the 30s for the rest of the weekend, but that is expected to fall to the high 20s on Monday.

Officials say a cold front will track across northwestern Ontario on Sunday night and north of Lake Superior on Monday morning, bringing the temperature down.

Thunder Bay city officials remind you that if you don’t have a place to stay out of the heat, services like Shelter House and the Salvation Army shelter are loosening some of their restrictions and allowing clients to stay inside.
