Energy Rebates On The Way

The Ontario government is offering up some cash to homeowners looking to make some changes to lower their energy bills.

The Wynne government is setting aside $100 million through its Green Investment Fund over the next three years for home energy audits and retrofits.

Homeowners can apply for rebates of $500 to $2,000 when installing new energy-efficient furnaces, windows and insulation.

The province says such improvements can help natural gas users save a $1.50 to $4.00 for every dollar invested.
