It’s the National Day of Mourning that honours those who were killed or injured on the job.
Locally, a ceremony will be held today at the Injured Workers Monument on the grounds of the Finlandia Club on Bay Street.
Officials say the day will continue to be recognized until workplace injuries and deaths stop.
The ceremony gets underway at 1.
