Plenty of Fish will be paying plenty of cash after the online dating site was sited for an alleged violation of Canada’s anti-spam legislation.
The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications commission says Plenty of Fish has paid 48 thousand dollars as part of the deal.
The CRTC alleges the company sent out emails to clients of its service without giving them a clear option of unsubscribing from those notices.
