A group of six runners from Montreal are planning a cross Canada trek in support of the Terry Fox Cancer Foundation.
Spokesperson Akshay Grover explains the run is something he started on his own to uphold Terry’s Marathon of Hope.
He ran from Montreal to Toronto when he was 16 years old, raising $14,000 for Childhood Cancer Canada.
“Every two years, the team got bigger, the goal got larger, and we try to raise more and more,” he explains.
The team will start their run to Vancouver June 1st and expect to be in Thunder Bay a little over a week later. (File Photo)
